The Consultants
The Warwickshire Vein Clinic is a partnership between three consultant vascular surgeons
who have worked closely over many years. Their aim is to use the latest techniques
combined with years of surgical experience to deliver the highest standards in medical care:

The Consultation
Your consultation at the Warwickshire Vein Clinic normally lasts approximately 30 minutes.
The aim of the consultation is to determine the precise cause and extent of your vein problem,
and then to discuss with you the treatment options that best suit your particular requirements.
During the consultation, your Consultant will take a detailed history of your problem,
and perform a thorough examination of your legs. If your problem is varicose veins, you may also require
a detailed ultrasound scan of your veins (duplex scan), to determine the
site of the leaking venous valves in preparation for your traetment. Usually the scan will be performed
on a separate occassion; a separate charge for the scan will be made(see costs).
During the consultation you will have an opportunity to discuss the causes and complications of veins,
as well as having a detailed discussion of the treatment option and the costs involved.
