Compression Hosiery
The wearing of graduated compression stockings or socks, when properly fitted,
can produce a significant improvement in leg swelling and the skin changes associated
with varicose veins. Compression hosiery can also improve the symptoms of heaviness
and aching that some patients with varicose veins suffer. Your Consultant at the
Warwickshire Vein Clinic will be able to advise on whether compression hosiery is
appropriate for your particular vein condition.
