Leg Swelling
This is a common problem, usually due to an excess of fluid in the legs.
There are many causes of leg swelling. Some excess fluid in the legs can result from problems with the veins,
or with the lymphatics which are tiny vessels carrying fluid up the leg.
Successful treatment of leg swelling relies on accurate diagnosis of the cause,
followed by specific treatment. Often this will include appropriate compression hosiery.
